When God's Ready

This shot brings to mind a favorite quote from that master of all things magical, Ansel Adams: "Sometimes I do get to places just when God's ready to have somebody click the shutter."

Yes! Click. : )

May I ask what camera(s) you use? Thank you.

Sure! This was taken with an 8 megapixel Canon point-and-shoot. I don't remember the model. Many of the newer ones are with a Ricoh CX2, 9 megapixel, which I love and will probably keep forever since it has a long telephoto and is so easily portable. Again, just your small point-and-shoot camera. It's remarkable what they do nowdays (I'm showing my age!)

Just recently I got my dream camera, a Nikon D7000 DSLR. It's massive, weighs a ton, and you really need to use a tripod for telephoto shots. But oh my, the quality of a well-exposed shot has to be seen to be believed!!! I'm a happy camper, er, that is, puppy! :)

Excellent! My dream camera is a Nikon D300s. It may be a dream forever. From what I've read, the D7000 is terrific!
