If you're a dog lover, and even if you're not, you may have seen the latest Internet meme.  It's a picture of a surprised-looking Shiba Inu, the national dog of Japan, overlaid with notes in "dog-speak".  That is, with adverb/adjective mismatches, and misspellings optional but encouraged.  The notes must be in Comic Sans typeface and there must be at least one "wow".  (Who says the Internet doesn't have rules?)

Therefore I consider it my duty as a blogger to aid in the spread of this meme.  With an even cuter dog, of course.  One must be original, no?  ;)

And with 30 mph winds, a windchill of -45.  But that wasn't the coldest in the nation.  With a record windchill of -63, Grand Marais, Minnesota, was the winner (loser?).  I love Grand Marais, the people are nice and the harbor is beautiful.  But I may have to reconsider retiring there . . .
