Bless The Beasts
And the children. And the birds. Seagulls feeding in the turbulent water flowing under a Mississippi River dam.
Fine Piece Of Equipment
I have no idea what some of these attachments are, or how far the photog expects the flash to carry on a bright, sunny day. The only thing that's clear is that someone was VERY good this Christmas!

On Vacation (In My Mind)
It's cold outside and very windy, so what to do? Look and pictures and dream of vacation, of course. I just added this one to my SmugMug page and thought you might like to see it too. It's deep in the Big Horn Mountains of Wyoming. Deep in snow, no doubt, but we won't think about that.

Up A Lazy River
Or canal, in this case. The Hennepin Canal runs across northern Illinois. The delightful walking and bike path that runs on the other side was the original tow path for horses pulling barges of merchandise up and down the canal. Today it's a state recreation area.

Memories On The Prairie
A country cemetery on a hill overlooking the farm fields. It's planted in native wildflowers and the vegetation is burned off every other year, because some prairie plants need fire for their seeds to open.

Perpetual Motion
I caught this well after sunset and really liked it. Just added it to my SmugMug site in case someone else likes it too.
