You Know How All Of A Sudden The Way Becomes Indistinct?

I lost interest in this blog for a while.  Okay, a long while.  And I find that the name Relish The Journey doesn't fit anymore.  It was great while it lasted, but it's reached it's expiration date.

So I have a new blog under my real name (no, Journey isn't my real name, although it's still an avocation).  You can find it here

I'll still be posting photos, as I will always be a photographer.  And I'm adding paintings and drawings, some finished and some in progress.  Because I've grown and found more sh-, er, stuff that needs to be created.  And I'm the only one who can.

Does that sound egotistical?  Think about it.  I'm the only one who can create my stuff, and you're the only one who can create your stuff.  The act of creation is intensely personal and comes from our unique attitudes, beliefs, and experiences.  We each have a voice, but if we don't use it, it's lost forever.  And that would be a shame.

See you in the next iteration, my friends!  When you get there, send me a link to tell me where I can hear your voice.

Extreme Texture

A rainy day today, thank goodness.  We were two inches low for the month of March, and will need some moisture to get the seeds started when planting begins shortly.

Controlled Burn

If it's not too windy, the farmers burn ditches and road banks to reduce the matted undergrowth and weeds, and allow the grass a chance.
